Shooting our film away

Away Characters: GERT (16), DAVE(16) Location: Outside a building. England. 2011. GERT and DAVE have been in a performance of A Midsummer Night’s Dream. It is autumn 2011 and time for GERT and DAVE to go off for a holiday. Both GERT and DAVE feel very sad about leaving the play.

First we created a story board on the script called ‘Away’ , we also went through all the script deciding who would be best for what character. We finally made a Decision of Georgina Nelson filming , Benjamin Levi Dave and Kieran Kimber as Steve.

peep show

• I watched the first 2 minutes of an episode from peep show and analysed it. Most of the camera shots where all same all the way through the 2 minutes. The shots in the two minute scene are all two shots, which where either or  close up  . This is effective for the show as it makes it more realistic and makes you feel like the humor is directed towards you. 

• The sound used in the two minute scene is well used as they have music in the background quietly so you can mainly hear the actors voices which makes the comedy more realistic.
